Why Have a Personal Trainer?

It could be for a number of reasons; you might want to lose weight, you may be rehabilitating after illness, maybe you just want to improve your general health, or perhaps you want to train for triathlons?!

I will start by assessing your current level of fitness, consider your goals and then devise an individually tailored programme to help you achieve those goals quickly and safely.

Motivation is one of the greatest problems we all have. A good trainer will both motivate and encourage you with a programme that is both fun and challenging, pushing you beyond what you think you are capable of.

I really want to see you achieve your goals, so will push you that little bit further, keeping you moving and enjoying your workout - at your pace. Having fun is really important too - our training sessions should be a time you look forward to!

What happens during a session?

The session can be in or around your home and I can also help you with a separate gym programme. We tend to make the most of the weather and work out outdoors when appropriate.

I have a various different pieces of equipment to keep you challenged both physically and mentally!

A session is usually an hour long although if time is an issue this can be reduced or increased. I constantly monitor you, ensuring that you are working safely, and effectively.
